1. High tensile strength, the strength of stucco fiberglass mesh varies with the influence of various factors, such as the smaller the diameter of the monofilament, the higher the tensile strength.
2. The elongation is small. The elongation of stucco fiberglass mesh is generally 3% to 4%, which is much smaller than other natural and synthetic fibers.
3. Good heat resistance, stucco fiberglass mesh has good heat resistance.
4. Electrical properties, alkali-free stucco fiberglass mesh, high insulation resistance, good dielectric properties, moisture absorption and high temperature resistance. As an electrical insulating material in the electromechanical industry, the effect is remarkable.
5. Chemical stability, stucco fiberglass mesh has good stability under the action of water and various intrusion media. However, the resistance of different stucco fiberglass mesh components to different media is different. The alkali-free glass fiber has the best water resistance, but the acid resistance is very poor; the E glass fiber has good weak alkali resistance; the medium alkali glass fiber has better water resistance, and the acid resistance is better than the alkali-free fiber; the high alkali fiber has the acid resistance. Better, but poor water resistance.
6. Hygroscopicity, the water absorption of stucco fiberglass mesh is 1/20~1/10 that of natural and synthetic fibers. The water absorption is related to the glass composition, the alkali-free fiber has the smallest water absorption, and the high-alkali fiber has the largest water absorption.
7. Brittleness. The brittleness of stucco fiberglass mesh is higher than that of other fibers. It is not abrasion-resistant and easy to break. But when the fiber diameter is less than 3.8μm, the fiber and its products have good flexibility.
